What is Unlock Your Strength?
Unlock Your Strength (available only in German at this time) is a certified § 20 SGB V prevention course, available as an 8-week online course or a 1-week compact course, designed to help you build a stronger, more capable body through guided strength training.
Every 50-minute session is led by our expert certified personal trainer, Lukas, who walks you through various exercise circuits targeting the major muscle groups you rely on most in daily life. Each workout follows the same structure: a Warmup, a strength-focused main session, and a Cooldown.
Every exercise comes with clear guidance on technique and form, helping you progress safely and confidently, session by session. The goal is consistency – building lasting strength that supports you in everyday life.
Do it all from home, with no equipment required. Want more of a challenge? Mix in some light dumbbells or filled water bottles to progress the movements.
In Germany, courses like this one are commonly reimbursed by your health insurer once you've completed it. And we've added 6 months of Freeletics free on top!

And that's it! A simple, straightforward way to get stronger and let your health insurance cover the cost.
Why strength training, and why now?
Strength training is about more than building muscle. Research links it to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, better blood sugar control, and, per a 2022 meta-analysis, meaningful health benefits from as little as 30–60 minutes a week.¹ That's roughly what one Unlock Your Strength session gives you.
It's also one of the most effective ways to counteract a desk-bound, sedentary lifestyle – a reality that most of us face. Think stiff neck. Tight hips. Sore back. The more we sit, the more everyday aches and pains creep in, and strength training can help alleviate a lot of these issues, including chronic lower back pain.
And the health benefits of strength training don't stop there. Regular strength training can also support your mood, improve bone density, mobility, and overall physical health. For women in particular, building strength can be a powerful addition to a regular fitness routine, especially as you age.
That's exactly what Unlock Your Strength is designed to do: help you build a strong foundation that supports you in everyday life, with the Freeletics Coach guiding you every step of the way.
