“The scientific side of HIIT and Freeletics” – Neeraj’s story

I am 39 years old, 5’10” (177cm) and have been into fitness for close to 8 years now. I tried many things – such as resistance training, running, cycling, swimming and going to the gym – but never managed to sustain my weight loss and usually gained it straight back. During this time, I was able to build muscle but I struggled to lose my fat and look athletic. This is when I realised that weight loss is much more scientific than I thought.

I then discovered HIIT and came across Freeletics. I got excited after reading about it and after watching some transformation videos on YouTube, I decided to give it an honest try! It was August 2016 when I first tried the Freeletics Coach and I was absolutely amazed with the scientific approach that the app provides. Since then, it’s been 15 weeks of Freeletics training during which I have lost 12kg, 6 inches and 10% of my body fat. I have been able to come down from 78kg to 66kg, 35″ to 29” waist size, 26% to 16% body fat and I believe this is just the start of my real fitness journey. I feel I am now in the best shape of my life and I am proud to say that my Freeletics journey has become my lifestyle! Thank you, Freeletics.
