A guide to Single Exercises


Record your time-based Single Exercises!

Exercises like the Plank Hold and the many other Plank variations are available in the Coach tab under Single Exercises.

As a bonus, you’ll also find other time-based stretching favorites like the Pancake Stretch and World’s Greatest Stretch, along with exercises like Pullup Hold, Wall Sits, and even mobility movements like Hamstring and Glute Roll.

Log your weighted exercises

Along with our Barbell, Dumbbell, and Kettlebell focused Training Journeys, Free Athletes have been requesting the option to manually log weighted exercises directly in the Coach tab. Now, you can - simply by scrolling down to the Single Exercise section and selecting the exercise.

Why use the Single Exercise section?

Looking for an additional finisher of a 45-second Wall Sit after your Coach-assigned workout? Want to see if you and your training partner can complete a 1-minute Plank Hold? Do you feel like you would benefit from 30 more seconds of Hip Stretch on both sides? You can log these exercises right in the Freeletics app to capture and track your full fitness routine!

How to find and start a Single Exercise:

  • Step 1: Scroll down to Singles Exercises
  • Step 2: Search for and select the exercise or stretch you wish to perform
  • Step 3: Choose the time or amount of reps you wish to perform
  • Step 4: Click Start and give it your all!

The Coach is paying attention…

Just remember, that any exercise you complete from the Single Exercise section and give post-workout feedback on will be taken into consideration by the Coach when generating your personalized training sessions.
