The Ultimate Strength Training Journey is a mixed-modality training plan created with Free Athlete feedback at its core. It uses an improved algorithm to deliver the ultimate flexibility and a true strength focus for the first time in Freeletics' history.
Over 14 weeks (approx. three Coach sessions per week), you’ll follow a dynamic workout plan designed to help you build strength and reach your goals even faster – all while keeping things fresh with endless variety.
It seamlessly combines different training styles from traditional weighted exercises with Barbells, Dumbbells, and Kettlebells to classic Freeletics bodyweight workouts, runs, and more, so you can mix and match as you like and adjust daily.
Even better? Every session you complete, whether it’s a run or weights, is factored into your next one. That means smarter updates from the Coach and faster progress towards your strength goals.
It’s personalized training that adapts in real-time so you can train how you want, when you want, and get exactly what you want you need – on your terms.

And it’s not just about the equipment – we’ve added even more options to make your training session truly your own. You can now adjust the focus of your workout to give your body what it needs that day.
Got extra time to train today? Extend your session to match the time you have available for a longer, juicy sweat sesh. And don’t worry, our 15-minute sessions will always have your back when you’re in a rush.
Plus, you can even tweak the intensity to ensure you’re getting the most out of each session. It’s the flexibility you need to keep getting after it.

Next-level personalization
There’s no denying that the Coach’s powerful AI personalization was already impressive, but now it’s even better, offering real-time adjustments while you train.
What does that mean? If there’s an exercise that doesn’t match your abilities or you need an alternative, just tap, and the Coach updates your session instantly. And if you need to avoid certain movements for a longer time, you can always exclude certain exercises, giving you the flexibility to train in a way that fits your current needs.
After each interval, let the Coach know how each individual exercise went. Bench Press too heavy, but the Bicep Curls were spot on? Give that feedback, and the Coach will adjust so you can improve at your own pace and level.
The best part? The Coach learns from your preferences, continuously optimizing future sessions to deliver exactly what works best for you.

Customized to your schedule
This “made for you” dynamic experience of Ultimate Strength goes beyond your workouts – your preferred rest days also help shape how the Coach structures your schedule.
If you prefer a routine of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you’ll get a healthy dose of Full-Body workouts to make sure you’re targeting all the major muscle groups involved in your strength-building goals.
On the flip side, if you’re planning a consecutive training day schedule like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, you’re scheduled training days will alternate targeting muscle groups to make sure your muscles have time to rest, recover, and grow.
An example of this breakdown could be full body on Monday, lower body on Tuesday, and upper body on Wednesday.
