Take control of your day with this simple morning routine

Morning routine Content

You have the opportunity to shape your day. Every morning you should wake up and know that today will be the day you kick ass. Do you have the power to control everything that’s going to happen? No. But you can choose how much to dedicate to you, your goals and your interests. It all starts with the right morning routine.

It’s about choosing whatever makes you happy and doing it as soon as you wake up. Before anything else. Why? Because this is what puts you in a positive, ready to take on the world mood. So make these tips part of your morning routine. The rest of the day will be yours to conquer.

Exercise

Choose to train first thing in the morning. This is when your willpower is strongest and you’re less likely to put it off until later. Plus, you know how good exercise makes you feel don’t you? It releases endorphins that make you happy. Doesn’t matter how long for. It can be a 10 minute run, Metis or Aphrodite. By doing it, you’ll start your day less stressed and more focused. Can you think of a better way?

Get outdoors

Natural daylight and fresh air. Single handedly, the best things to clear your mind and wake up to. If you are someone who gets in the car, drives to work and walks in the office, then you’ll know that there is absolutely nothing enjoyable about this. Instead, make time to go outside in the morning. It doesn’t have to be a hike. Just walk to work. Even have a coffee out the front door. These small things will make you become more positive and refreshed.

Do a hobby

Just take 10 minutes every morning to work on something you enjoy. Whatever it is, if you start your day off with something enjoyable. The rest of the day will follow. So learn a language. Read a book. Try out a new recipe for your lunch that day. Because if you always put off your small success until later on, you become a slave to work and other demands.

Choose something productive

Make a list and choose the most productive thing you need to do that day. Then do it first thing in the morning. This is the time when you will have the most energy to actually complete it and do it right. Organizing your meals for the week, financial planning. Whatever it is, once you complete it you will feel like you’ve made progress. And that’s the start of a productive day.

Everyday is full of possibilities. Your morning is when you decide to act upon them. Make these tips a part of your morning routine. Join the discussion and tell us how they changed your day. Did you have more control? Feel more positive? Leave a comment below.
