2015 – The year of No Excuses

header5

You made it through 2014. For all the burpees, squats and situps you did this year, be proud of yourself. But 2014 was just the warm up. 2015 is the challenge. The challenge to achieve something you never thought possible. To make early morning workouts the only way you start your day. To prove everyone wrong who thought that you couldn’t do it. So make 2015 your year. ‘It’s too cold’. ‘It’s too dark’. ‘I don’t have time’. Don’t waste your time making excuses. Get your mind to focus on results.

Christmas is over. So now it’s time to get back on track. Continue being a Free Athlete. Others may tell you that New Year’s Resolutions are only there to be broken. Are you going to listen to them? Or are you going to prove them wrong?

These are the most common excuses people use to break their New Year’s Resolutions. But because a Free Athlete makes No Excuses we have provided solutions to help you stick to yours.

It’s hard to get back into it after the holidays

Solution: You think there is a better time to start? You are wrong. New Year, new challenge. 365 days to prove yourself. Starting from now. So write down your goals for 2015. Stick them somewhere you will always see them. Start working towards them. The quicker you start, the quicker you see progress.

You think it’s a waste of time and you can’t see results

Solution: You don’t get what you want. You get what you work for. Freeletics is not just about a quick, physical transformation. Freeletics is a lifestyle. And you only get out what you put in. So stay dedicated in 2015. It’s not going to happen overnight. Even when you start seeing progress, don’t stop. You can always improve yourself. Imagine yourself in a year if you continue. You still want to stop? Didn’t think so.

You don’t have anyone to work out with

Solution: With Freeletics you are never alone. Your Coach and the Community were with you in 2014. They will be there even stronger in 2015. They are your long-term companions. With you for every step of the way. Find out where the nearest community to you is and join them. Take a friend, train together. Motivate each other.

You don’t have time to train

Solution: For some, a new year means a new schedule. You may have new projects and other resolutions that you are working on. But it’s not about having time, it’s about making it. You want a workout that won’t last as long? It’s simple. Work harder. Move faster. Plan your workouts to fit into your busy schedule. Getting up early and training means you aren’t losing any of your day. The choice between an extra hour in bed and achieving your long-term goals is yours.

You think the weather is too bad in winter

Solution: Weather is not an excuse. Dress appropriately for the cold temperatures. Make sure you can put layers on and take them off if needed. Eat clean. Make sure you are getting all the important nutrients you need to strengthen your immune system. Or train at home. You can do your Freeletics training in the comfort of your living room if you want to. There are no Excuses.

So make 2015 the year you achieve the impossible. Don’t look at Freeletics as a New Year’s Resolution. It’s not there to be broken. It’s there to be conquered. You have 365 days. Make each one count. Beat Personal Bests, set new goals, master new skills. But above all, remember. No Excuses. Get the Coach now and make 2015 your best year yet.
