2025 is coming to an end, and we’re hyped about what 2026 has in store (spoiler alert: there’s a lot more coming your way!).
But as with every transitional period, it’s important to reflect on your journey – your milestones, your wins, and everything you’ve achieved along the way. It’s a time to celebrate where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you’re headed next.
There’s something to be said about showing up for yourself day after day. And while it may feel like something small in that moment, it’s these small, consistent actions that add up to big, lasting changes. It’s where habits are formed, and lives are changed.

And because we love to inspire you, we’ve put together some impressive numbers of what our Community of Free Athletes has achieved in 2025.

We hope those stats get you pumped up! It’s our “Why” for rolling out so many major updates this year. And whoa, there’s been a lot to get excited about. Here are some of the standout highlights from 2025:
Decathlon Partnership
The Freeletics x Decathlon announcement was BIG. Becoming the official digital training partner of Decathlon brought us one step closer to realizing our vision of making it easier for people to get the most out of their exercise equipment and receive expert guidance at every step, every rep.
But that’s not all. This partnership also empowered us to hold good on our promise of more by launching 17 new equipment options and over 300 new exercises.
The best part? We didn’t stop there. We topped off this major update with a ton of new, exciting features that are transforming the Freeletics Coach experience and making it truly customizable.

New equipment & exercises in the app
We promised more in 2024, and we definitely delivered. In 2025, we launched 17 new equipment options and hundreds of new exercises to help you move more and get your sweat on, your way.
From home workout essentials like the newly added Suspension Trainers, Gliding Discs, and the Ab Wheel to gym-focused gear, including gym machines and cardio equipment, we’ve truly got something for everyone.

Workout spaces
Workout Spaces make it that much easier to get your training session to match your setup – no matter where you are. This feature lets you create workout locations based on the equipment you have available, and the Coach adjusts your sessions accordingly.
Heart rate charts
If you have a connected wearable device, this new feature lets you access two important charts based on your heart rate data collected: your personalized heart rate chart and your heart rate zones chart.
Favorite workouts
With the new Favorites feature, you can easily save your fave workouts and access them quickly. Another bonus: you can share them with other Free Athletes, adding a fun community element and spreading some fitspo.
Offline mode
Offline mode is especially great for Athletes on the go. Now you can download your Coach session while you’re still connected to Wi-Fi, so even if your connection gets spotty during a workout, you still have the guidance you need to complete your session.
More flexibility than ever with Ultimate Strength
The Ultimate Strength Training Journey was a major update that completely transformed the Freeletics training experience. Instead of focusing on just one modality throughout your workout plan, this Training Journey is a refreshing mix-modality approach, offering ultimate flexibility and a true emphasis on strength for the first time EVER in Freeletics history.
And within this training plan, we sprinkled in some pretty awesome features to make your training truly your own. While there were a lot, here are four standouts:
- New Coach-assigned equipment: This year, we added a TON of new equipment to help you build strength and keep your workouts fresh. Many of these, like Gym Machines, Weight Vest, Ab Wheel, and Suspension Straps, are now included in Coach-assigned workouts to give you even more variety.
- Swap exercises and customize weight & reps during workout: By allowing you to choose the exercises you want or need and perfectly adjust the weight and reps, we’ve given you greater flexibility and personalization exactly when you need it most.
- Mobility Days: Always skipping out on your R&R? This new feature gives you #NoExcuses for skipping a recovery or mobility day. Tailored to your workouts and what you need in that moment, Mobility Days are there to help you recover smarter, get back to your training faster, and perform better.
- Exercise Statistics: Your recaps got even more detailed, allowing you to view your exercise-level progress spanning the past 3 months for both your Interval and Workout Recap.
